Shabbat morning study concentrates on the beginning of our Torah as we read Bereshit/Genesis. Our Biblical exploration will be animated and expanded by sharing various commentaries from all sources -- Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, Humanist, Revival, and the Internet. Commentary from other religions will be inlcuded where relevant (don’t forget, these early Sidrot (portions) are the source of the concept of Original Sin). Various literary complilations will also be welcome. Please bring your own copy of the Tanach (Bible), any publication. Discussions are conducted in English.
