Kudos to our Temple “Helping Hands” volunteers who helped to pack 30,000 meals yesterday for “Stop Hunger Now” which gets food and life-saving aid to the world’s most vulnerable people. See more photos from the event here!

Add some light this Hanukkah season and volunteer as Temple Emanu-El once again will be hosting several homeless families from Family Promise. They will be guests at our Temple,December 25th-January 1st. As always, the success of our housing the homeless program depends on dedicated volunteers from our Temple community. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the following:
  • Make meals
  • Hang out with our guests
  • Sleep over at the temple
  • Set up before guests arrive
  • Dismantle and clean up after guests leave
We are always looking for new volunteers. (It is a great experience for kids too!) To sign up for a shift, visit: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4aaead2faaf58-winter
