Join us for a very festive Shabbat! Chanukah Shabbat services will be joined by the Hallelu Band and Jr. Choir. Don’t forget to bring your menorah! We encourage you to wear white and blue in honor of Israel.

Join us for one of the bigger Tikkun Olam Social Action Events of the year at Temple Emanu-El. Together, we’ll assemble over 20,000 meals for families in need. This event is perfect for people of all ages.

Our social hall will be transformed with a unique curated visual experience, glow in the dark face paint, photo booth, DJ and so much more. There is an $18/family suggested donation. From 7 – 9 PM, there will be a teen only celebration. This event is underwritten by Menorah Chapels.

TRANSLITERATION

Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, shehecheyanu v’kiy’manu v’higiyanu laz’man hazeh.

TRANSLATION
Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of all, who has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this season.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה, יְיָ
אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ, מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם,
אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֺתָיו
וְצִוָּֽנוּ לְהַדְלִיק נֵר שֶׁל חֲנֻכָּה.

TRANSLITERATION

Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tsivanu l’hadlik ner shel Hanukkah. 

TRANSLATION

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of all, who hallows us with mitzvot, commanding us to kindle the Hanukkah lights.

Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, she-asah nisim laavoteinu v’imoteinu bayamim hahaeim baz’man hazeh. 

TRANSLATION

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of all, who performed wonderous deeds for our ancestors in days of old at this season.
