The Afro-Semitic Experience

Friday, April 19 at Shabbat Services at 6 PM

The Afro-Semitic Experience is an American roots jazz band with a difference- they are a group of Jewish-American and African American musicians who have been performing, recording, and teaching together for 25 years. Their music embodies the radical notion that people of different faiths, races, and beliefs can come together through music. The Afro-Semitic Experience will be joining us for the Erev-Shabbat before Passover, “Shabbat HaGadol” to lead us in prayer and share with us how their music and mission is influenced by our shared story of slavery to redemption.

All are welcome to join us for Shabbat Services! At 5 PM, we’ll enjoy a festive Pre-Neg with beer, wine, and cheese. Services begin at 6:00 PM. Virtual options are available below.
