StandWithUs is an international nonpartisan non profit organization that is dedicated to educating people of all ages and backgrounds about Israel, challenging misinformation and combating antisemitism. BDS is a global campaign promoting boycott, divestment, and sanctions against Israel. It is the newest weapon in the ongoing effort to eliminate Israel as the democratic state of the Jewish people.
The transition from high school to college when it comes to educating about Israel as a student leader is different for everyone. Every campus is unique. Many high school students have questions about what their potential campus is like for Jewish students/the pro-Israel community. On this webinar, we will hear the new trends on campus when it comes to anti-Israel activity, and what high school students should know now to prepare for their future. This presentation shares how the BDS Movement was formed, introduces its major players, its goals and strategies from an educational perspective and teaches students practical ways to be proactive.
