Yom Kippur as Contemplative Experience: 3 Poems of Yehuda Amichai with Samara Schwartz, Youth Learning and Engagement Director. Online only.
This class will examine three poems by Yehuda Amichai as a lens to understand the contemplative soul-work that we do on Yom Kippur.
Amichai reflects on the themes of the service of repentance in the morning, yizkor in the afternoon, and neilah in the evening to craft a Yom Kippur of limited prayer, but deep spiritual reflection and personal connection. Perhaps we will find our own ways to be inspired and purified for the year to come. Register here.
