Yossi Klein Halevi

Yossi Klein Halevi: American Jews and Israel
Wednesday, May 15 at 7:30 PM

Yossi-Halevi-2-e1525298241476

Prizewinning Israeli author Yossi Klein Halevi, a senior fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, will discuss the future relationship between American Jews and Israel. In his 2013 book, Like Dreamers: The Story of the Israeli Paratroopers Who Reunited Jerusalem and Divided a Nation, Halevi interweaves the stories of a group of 1967 paratroopers who reunited Jerusalem, tracing the history of Israel and the divergent ideologies shaping it from the Six-Day War to the present. His new book, Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor, was published by Harper Collins in June 2018.

This event is sponsored by the Rabbi Charles A. Kroloff Fund for Jewish Learning.
