Family Promise helps families experiencing homelessness in Union County by providing shelter, food and support services. Typically during this time of year, Temple Emanu-El would house clients of Family Promise in our building and provide them with food, shelter and companionship.
Due to COVID-19, we are “virtually” hosting our Family Promise guests this winter. Many of you have volunteered in the past, so rather than hanging out, cooking meals or sleeping over, we are hoping you would consider supporting our guests by making a donation to our Housing the Homeless Fund.
These donations will be sent to Family Promise of Union County to support their clients through gift cards for grocery purchases at local supermarkets, transportation, increased housing costs, and even some holiday gifts to help bring some cheer during these difficult times.
Thanks to the generosity of your donations, Temple Emanu-El has met its match goal of $2,000. Now we need your help to reach our financial goal of giving Family Promise $6,000.
