Adam Cohen, Coordinator of Teen Learning and Engagement
Adam joined the YLE staff in July of 2023 as Coordinator of Teen Learning and Engagement.
Adam Cohen grew up in Central Jersey and earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy from the Bloustein School of Rutgers University. For eight years, Adam worked with a nonprofit organization, dedicating himself to providing social and health services to those in need. Throughout Adam’s time there he became their program coordinator and during the pandemic helped ensure that families were able to receive essentials for their babies.
In addition to his passion for social justice, he has always had a deep love of Judaism and Jewish education. That has been evident in his eleven-year journey of teaching at various synagogues with eight of those years were spent teaching here at Temple Emanu-El. Adam is excited to continue his journey of learning, sharing knowledge, and embarking on meaningful social justice endeavors with our students.
